Another month, another paper flogging the zombie meme of MMR-Autism. This time in a superficially decent journal, albeit one where the subject is likely to be outside the specialist knowledge of peer reviewers (public health specialists are not normally going to be geneticists).
The source paper is written by someone with a religious agenda against human foetal derived cell lines. Having decided that these cell lines are the spawn of Satan (she was plaintiff in a 2009 case trying to get the US Government to stop using them at all), the study, funded by a fundamentalist Christian conservative foundation, finds that, guess what? human foetal cell lines are the work of the devil.
But the authors state they have no conflict of interest. So that's alright then.
